“This video/sculptural/sound installation is decidedly creepy... Turn the corner and you are assailed by a horde of black-haired scalps suspended from the ceiling and then you realise you are part of the installation as your image appears on the far wall. Strange pipes and apparatuses grow from the floor while dark ambient sound throbs. A distinctly fresh take on the neo gothic.” Ashley Crawford, The Age, 25 October 2008.
Leyz Gerlz references gossiping women through dreamlike installation featuring suspended wigs, speakers, lights, CD players, cables, a projector and security camera.
